The idea of explaining (but not endorsing) a policy on the ethics channel is that it can be done in a manner where the politics is taken out of it.
The political arena in general is often filled with fighting and accusation, usually this dims the ability of a good idea to shine through, so here’s a piece on housing policy that you can like or dislike based only on the merits of what it is rather than who it represents or who is debating the topic. By keeping the fight out we can keep the sense in and let the scraps take place elsewhere where they belong.
Many thanks to the policy team for helping with the details so that this could be made.
