  • HELP NEEDED: ‘Quarter of Dublin homeless charity’s beds occupied by taxi drivers, retail staff and tradespeople, including van drivers and lorry drivers, scaffolders, electricians and construction workers’ – This is entirely unacceptable at a time of severe labour shortages in the construction industry – what can WE (collectively) do about this?   • Industry advocacy: We don’t normally share memes or platitudes etc on our social media channels, however, we posted the image below this week as it really hit on our core ethos as a provider to Ireland’s construction and real estate sectors at a time of chronically poor policy-making. And it clearly hit a nerve with the people who ensure our content achieves in excess of 700,000 digital impressions every month: Surround yourself with people who fight for you in rooms you aren’t in – to us, this is the very crux of positive industry influence, advocacy and impact. It defines and dictates our work through Property District, Proptech Ireland, MMC Ireland, and most recently, Construction Ireland.
