Dublin, Ireland: 5 June 2024 – Turner & Townsend is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael McBrearty as Delivery Director, a move set to significantly enhance its existing infrastructure capabilities in Ireland. In addition to strengthening the team leading Ireland’s critical infrastructure projects, Michael’s extensive expertise in Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) will be applied to a range of projects within the company.

With over 20 years of experience operating at board level, Michael is a highly respected figure in the field and has led the successful delivery of approximately €1.2 billion worth of infrastructure assets across, health, education and housing. His deep understanding of PPP, honed through his strategic roles in large international organisations, makes him an invaluable asset to Turner & Townsend’s expanding infrastructure team.

Michael McBrearty’s role will see him applying his extensive knowledge and experience to support Turner & Townsend’s growing portfolio of infrastructure projects. 

Michael’s previous successes include leading consortiums in the development and delivery of successful PPP government procurements such as the ‘Irish Social Housing PPP Bundle 2’ and the delivery of transport projects. His strategic leadership has been integral in establishing dedicated infrastructure funds and securing cornerstone investors, solidifying his reputation within the investment and infrastructure community.
