This is on Eglington Road in Dublin. This period house is/was owned by the local Jesuits. I initially thought this was standard property development (The Irish Disease), but it was actually destroyed by an Arson attack:
The name “Loyola” refers to St. Ignatius Loyola, the founder of the Jesuit Order. Oh, and you’re not crazy – the house had two front doors, one of which was always bricked up.
