The theme of the 2019 St Patrick’s Day Parade in Cleveland was Irish Churches of the Diocese of Cleveland. Timmy Campbell of the West Side Irish American Club in Cleveland explained the float which featured the building of their home church, St Colman’s. The construction took place between 1914 and 1918 with Irish laborers, mostly volunteers, building the Church. The float featured a working crane that lifted some material for the young construction workers to handle.
